Holy Week and Easter Services

Monday, March 17th — 9:00 pm Compline with the Choir with and at St. Michael's Church (112 Randolph Avenue, Milton).

Wednesday, March 19th — 7:00 pm Tenebrae Service with St. Michael's at Church of Our Saviour (453 Adams Street). The word "Tenebrae" is Latin for shadows. The purpose of this candle-lit service is to recreate the emotional aspects of the passion story.

Maundy Thursday, March 20th — Maundy Thursday Foot-Washing Ceremony and Liturgy of the Last Supper followed by a simple supper at 6:30 pm at Church of Our Saviour.

Good Friday, March 21st — 12 noon: Good Friday Community Ecumenical Service at Church of Our Saviour, "Were You There? A Way of the Cross"; 7:00 pm: the traditional Good Friday Liturgy with and at St. Michael's Church.

Holy Saturday, March 22nd — 9:00 am Liturgy of the Day at Church of Our Saviour; 9:30 am: Decorating the Sanctuary for Easter as well as planting flowers outdoors (weather permitting) at Church of Our Saviour; 10:00 am: Easter Festival "People of the Rainbow" Choir Rehearsal at Church our Our Saviour; 5:00 pm Easter Vigil with the WMBQ congregations at Trinity Episcopal Church (241 Broad Street, Weymouth).

Easter Sunday Services, March 23rd — The Day of the Ressurection, Alleluia! Christ is Risen!!! 10:00 am at Church of Our Saviour: Children's Easter Pageant and Festival Eucharist with Trumpet and the "People of the Rainbow" Choir, followed by the Annual Easter Egg Hunt (please remember to bring bells from home to help ring and sing in the Alleluias during the Service).

Weekly & Monthly Schedule

Vestry Meetings usually on the 2nd Sunday (except in July & August)

Thursdays: Holy Eucharist & Bible Study @ 10:00 am with/at St. Michael’s Church

Holy Days: As announced and in place of or moved to a Wednesday or Sunday Service.

Evensong: Occasionally throughout the Church Year as announced.

Advent: A cooperative program with St. Michael’s in Milton on 3 Wednesday evenings & 1 Sunday evening in Advent

Lent: A cooperative program with the WMBQ congregations on 5 Wednesday evenings during Lent

Milton Community Food Pantry located at the Parkway United Methodist Church — We volunteer on the 2nd & 5th Saturdays of the month.
