THE CHURCH OF OUR SAVIOUR ANNOUNCES ITS LENTEN AND
HOLY WEEK SCHEDULE FOR 2012

The Episcopal Church of Our Savior in East Milton is pleased to announce the following schedule of events for Lent, Holy Week and Easter, 2012. 

Ash Wednesday, February 22 – a light supper will be served at 6 pm in the church hall followed by Holy Eucharist with the imposition of ashes at 7 pm. 

Soup and Scripture, Wednesday evenings in March (7, 14, 21 and 28) – a light supper, bible study and casual service of Holy Eucharist will take place in various homes of members of the congregation.  Please call the office at 617-698-4757 for dates and locations. 

Coffee Corner, Sundays in Lent during our fellowship time after the 10 am Service.  If you had a question for God, what would it be?  Let’s explore them together! 

Palm Sunday, April 1 – a service of Palms, the Passion, and Holy Eucharist at 10 am. 

Holy Thursday, April 5 – a Middle Eastern potluck agape supper at 6 pm in the church hall, followed by service of Holy Eucharist including ritual foot washing and exposition of the Blessed Sacrament for one hour after the Service.  The service begins at 7 pm.

Good Friday, April 6  –  Good Friday service including Veneration of the Cross and Eucharist from reserved Sacrament at 7 pm.. 

Easter Sunday, April 8 – Celebrate Resurrection!  Easter sunrise outdoor service (weather permitting).  Please call the office for time and location. 

Easter Sunday service at 10 am in the church.
